The PP Conselleria for the Territory has accepted four General Plans presented to it from towns in Alicante Province that could result in the construction of up to 43,000 new houses. These are:

• Denia ... 18,000 new houses (yes, that's 18,000).

• Pego ... 2,800 new houses.

• Calpe ... 2,200 new houses are to be built near the Salt Flats.

• Sanet y Negrals ... 1,500 new houses and a golf course.

• Gata de Gorgos ... 6,000 new houses and a golf course.
