NEW-YEAR CHEER FOR PARCENT

VEÏNS DE PARCENT today received the welcome news of the suspension of the PAI for El Replá. This ruling was made by the Superior Tribunal of Justice in Valencia in response to the case brought against the PAI by Veïns de Parcent, acting together with and under the name of the Parcent opposition grouping CDP (Democratic Coalition of Parcent).

The ruling duplicates the suspension ordered in the case against the same PAI brought by the residents group from El Replá, the now famous 'Doctrine of Parcent', quoting the same arguments regarding sustainable development.

We await the hearing of both cases, for now secure that no building can go ahead whilst the cases are before the courts. We thank all the supporters of Veïns de Parcent who have contributed financially to allow us to bring this case and point out that donations are still being gratefully received.
