Veïns de Parcent – Newsletter Nº 65 – 6th September 2007
Dear Friends,
I hope you have all had a good summer and are enjoying today's sunshine after a rather dull August (though I bet it was warmer here than in the UK!).
Veïns de Parcent general meeting
Because both Jacqui Cotterill and Joan Carles Poquet are now on the Council, we need to have a meeting in October to choose and elect
a new Committee and also consider what our role is now that the Coalición Democrática de Parcent is in power. I shall be
sending out invitations to attend this meeting shortly. Obviously this will be for all residents of all nationalities.
Veïns de Parcent still has a role to play in the life of Parcent:
If you would be willing to come on to the Committee, or if you have any suggestions or ideas at all, please contact me. Several of
you have already expressed your willingness to help in one way or another, and we will be contacting you to discuss this with you.
I shall continue to keep you informed of Veïns' activities in these newsletters but there will also be another one, possibly monthly,
giving information about Parcent in general – my suggested name is "The Parcent Post" (unless you can think of
something better). This will include council reports, news of public events, courses and activities, and could also include small
ads for items for sale or wanted, services available locally and so on. We hope to get the Parcent web-site up-dated shortly too. If
you do not wish to receive this newsletter, please let me know.
All best wishes,
