You are invited to attend the Veïns de Parcent General Meeting to be held on Friday, 28th September at 8 p.m. upstairs at the Town Hall.

Please let me know as soon as possible of any nominations/volunteers for the Committee. Also for any items you would like to discuss
under Items 4. or 5. above.
The present Committee will mostly be resigning because either they are members of the present Council or because they are no longer
in this area. We hope to have both Spanish and expatriate members on the new Committee and to be able to continue raising funds and
contributing towards village life as is needed.
It is with deep regret that we have heard that Maggie Halsey died this morning. Maggie threw herself whole-heartedly
into the activities of the Veïns and she will be a great loss to us and to the village in general, where she was well-known by
everyone of all nationalities. Our sincere condolences go to Gerry and her family at this sad time. When I hear the date and time
of the funeral, I will inform you.
